My Story

Trying hard to be human. I’ve studied a lot in various places and have met many wonderful people along the way. I have an MFA in Writing and Poetics from Naropa University and I lived and worked in Japan for 3 years. My favorite flower is tsutsuji (azalea).

My poems have appeared in Modern Haiku, Bottle Rockets Press , Lynx: AHA Poetry, American Tanka, Green Fuse Press, MATTER: Wolverine Farm Publishing, The ASAHI Shimbun: Haikuist Network , Naropa University Press , and have been scribbled on napkins, etc. I hope you enjoy some of my poems and check back periodically as I will keep adding poems.
